‘The Big Week’ is back at Barrow Baptist Church! We hope you can join us during the week, whether that’s popping into the cafe for a drink or coming along to some of our events.

Climb aboard the bouncy pirate ship, challenge yourself with the games, enjoy an ice cream from the cafe and a burger straight off the BBQ. Our summer fair will have all of this and more!
Saturday 14th August 11:00 – 14:00
Come and spend some time in our cafe Mon-Thur between 10:30-13:30
There will be a range of refreshments including hot & cold drinks, cakes, light bites and lunches.
If the weather is good, there will be outdoor seating, as well as a range of garden games.
Why not take some time out and grab a cuppa!
Monday 9th – Thursday 12th August 10:30 – 13:30
There is lots for children to get involved in during The Big Week, whether that’s coming along to the cafe, joining the celebration on Sunday or any of our fantastic events aimed at primary and pre-school children to come to with their adult.
We are offering a special kids pass for the week – £10 gets a child into both our paid events, a free drink at cafe each day, a burger or sausage at the fair and a goody bag at our Sunday celebration.
Beach Party (£)
A morning of seaside-themed fun. We will have activities, crafts, silly songs and wacky games. Adults will need to stay on site but may go enjoy a cuppa in the cafe if they wish.

Family Walk and Picnic
Wednesday morning is another opportunity to come together as we take a stroll from the church. Bring along a picnic and join us as we lunch at the park

Family Camp (£)
Come along to our family camp – join us just for the evening or stay with us overnight in our building. Either bring a small self standing tent or set out your bedding in a section of the room. There will be campfires, games, and a movie night for those up a little later. (Parent/Carer price – £5 each)

We have lots of things for adults to engage with through the week but there are also a few events specifically for anyone around retirement age and over.
Tickets will need prebooked – £12.50 for singer and fish & chip lunch or £7.50 for individual event – call us on 01509 416603 if there’s no answer then leave us a message and we’ll get back to you.

Silver Sports is back! For any active retired folk out there we have a morning of table tennis, pool, darts and more

Fish and Chip Lunch (£)
Our ever popular fish and chip lunch will be giving us that seaside feel with food hot from the van.
Friday 13th August 12:30-14:00
We will be enjoying pizza while we test our knowledge with a sports themed quiz
Feel free to bring your own bottle.

Ladies, we will be having an evening of Prosecco, strawberries, nibbles and conversation.

It’s good to get out with others and we are organising some walks on Wednesday morning.
There will be a 45 minute walk on footpaths and a 90 minute walk that may be more off-road. There is also a family walk and picnic happening at the same time, see children section.
The walks will start and end at the church and you will then have the opportunity
to grab some lunch and a drink at the cafe afterwards
Wednesday 11th August 11:00am
There will be something for everyone on this morning. There will be things you can make, games to play, puzzles to complete for ages 0-100+! This will be running alongside our cafe so feel free to pop in and out as you grab a coffee or get yourself some lunch.
Thursday 12th August 10:30 – 12:30
Tuesday’s quiz is designed to challenge each of us on a range of topics. Come along with a whole team or join one on the night. Feel free to bring your own bottle (glasses will be available)
Tuesday 10th August 20:00
At the end of the week we are going to get together for a celebration.
There will be a short service at 10:00 followed by tea and coffee
